Return and Refund Policy

At Direct Tire, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you need to return an item, please review the following guidelines carefully.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Products must be in new, unused condition and returned in their original packaging, including all accessories and parts. Items that are damaged, test fitted, installed, altered, or missing original components will not be accepted.
  • Any signs of use or improper packaging may result in the return being rejected or subject to additional fees.
  • Products purchased more than 12 months ago are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

All returns must be pre-authorised by Direct Tire.

A Product Return Approval (PRA#) is required before returning any product.

Return Process

Before returning any product, you must obtain a Product Return Approval (PRA#) by contacting customer service. The PRA# must be included with your return—returns without a PRA# will not be accepted.

To obtain a PRA#, you must provide:

  • The original bill of sale
  • A detailed reason for the return
  • In some cases, photos of the product or an inspection by a local dealer may be required before a PRA# is issued.

Once issued, all products must be returned within 10 business days. If the return is made after this period, the PRA# will be canceled, and the product will not be accepted.

Returns that are missing a PRA# or do not meet our return conditions will be sent back to the customer at their expense. However, Direct Tire reserves the right to accept unauthorized returns and apply a 5% handling fee for processing.

Restocking Fees

Within 30 days of purchase: No handling charge.

31 days to 12 months: A 15% handling fee may apply.

Refunds

Direct Tire does not offer cash refunds. Returns will be credited to the customer’s account as store credit only. Returns should be sent to the appropriate Direct Tire warehouse. Please confirm the time and correct address and with customer service prior to dispatch.

Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit only. No cash refunds will be provided. If the returned product is found to be defective, customers may be eligible for repair or replacement according to the manufacturer's warranty.

Inspection and Rejection

All returned items will be inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet our policy criteria. If an item is rejected, it will be returned to the customer at their expense.


Warranty Policy

Direct Tire is committed to providing high-quality products, and we stand behind our offerings with a thorough warranty policy.

Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers defect in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper installation, misuse, or modifications made to the product.

Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact our customer service team within the warranty period. Proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue must be provided. Customers may be required to send the defective product back for evaluation.

Repair or Replacement

Upon receiving a warranty claim, we will assess the product and determine whether it will be repaired or replaced. If no defect is found, the product will be returned to the customer at their expense. For defective items valued under $50, customers should email us with relevant details, and we may allow for the destruction of the item if deemed necessary.

Limitations

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of the purchased product. We are not responsible for any labor costs associated with installation or removal of defective products. Customers should be aware that certain manufacturers handle their warranty claims directly; in such cases, customers must contact the manufacturer.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damages resulting from accidents, improper use, or neglect. Products that have been modified or improperly installed will not be eligible for warranty claims.


Shipping Policy

Direct Tire offers reliable shipping options to ensure your rims arrive safely and promptly. Our shipping policy outlines the terms and conditions of our shipping process.

Shipping Locations

We primarily ship within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario, Canada. We also offer shipping to other locations via courier services with prior arrangements. Please contact our customer service team for more information on specific shipping destinations.

Shipping Times

Orders are processed within one business day. For next-day deliveries, the local cut-off time is 5 PM for the GTA. Shipping times may vary based on order volume and destination, so we recommend contacting our customer service for further details.

Inspection on Delivery

Customers should inspect all items upon delivery. Any lost, missing, or damaged parts must be reported immediately. For items damaged in transit, customers must provide photographic evidence for claims. Claims for lost or damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Changes to Orders

Once an order is placed, modifications or additions cannot be made on-site. Orders requested for pick-up must be collected within 24 hours; otherwise, items will be restocked and a restocking fee may apply.
